COLIC-COLD WEATHER –WATER INTAKE

    I have talked in the past about the importance of having salt blocks available even in cold weather. What happens when you have a horse that does not use the salt block and has colic issues. It may be related to a lack of water intake. If I have a horse with this problem I suggest adding one tablespoon of loose salt to their diet daily. In Stamina Plus’s research facility this always solves the water intake problem and mild colic’s.
